AdSense not tracking impressions

I am a long time AdSense user (10 years) so it is unlikely that it is how I have implemented my code, but two new domains that I launched which have hardly any visitors (some days it is just me checking out a post after publishing it), I have noticed that I will visit the website, view a few pages, notice ads loading up nice, but then I see Zero impressions in my AdSense dashboard.

Does Google miss adsense impressions like this? I mean this is just a few page views so I am not bothered but is Google deliberately or inadvertently unable to capture page views and clicks depriving us of revenue?

Can I do anything about it?

Do you have your account set to only count AdSense for sites you specify?

Adsense ignores impressions/clicks from account holders.

Clicks it ignores. Impressions it doesn't ignore, not in my experience.

I had to use incognito & proxy to see if I can attach more than 5 channels to ad units.

Answers:
1. No, my account will show ads on any domain and I have not restricted it. Actually, I can see in the source code that this is my code.
2. Agree with netmeg that google does not ignore impressions from account holders.
3. I just find it awkward that G does not capture all the impressions even when I have tried it from different machines and this has scared the hell out of me because if it misses even 10% of the impressions on the larger websites, we might just assume that the traffic was lower or that person had an adblock installed or it was from a country with no Google ads, but if that were happening, that is serious loss of money.

I was under the impression that G now removes and ignores client impressions because of eCPM ads. I have actually see impressions drop periodically.
