2% Reduction...has been this high before so no big deal.

2.5% this time, which is the highest it's ever been. I did notice a couple of days where CTR on a couple of pages was particularly high. So it might be because of that.

40% yep. You read it right. i am guessing the index page for my largest site was targeted by whatever was doing the invalid clicks. so every day there would be a huge reduction, which wasn't so bad because there was no revenue drop from previous months or year over year. at the end of the month the finalized earnings showed a 40% reduction. i replaced the 336x280 with media.net and the results were underwhelming. today i tried to put the adsense big box back on the home page and after two hours it still isn't showing. other adsense on the same page does show up.

.19%, or restated, 1/5 of 1%.
I seem to have very good luck with this metric, month over month. Earnings level = $xx,000 per month. I am not changing ANYTHING. I am 100% white hat. What is my secret? I no not respond to ANY AdSense "improvement" suggestions, which is a surefire way to get bumped by Google Search - - "Add 100s more ads." (I use one block per page, or none, if performance is poor when tested.) - "Add image ads." (I use text only, for several reasons. Mostly, I hate screen movement.) - "Change to AdSense suggested specific ad formats" - (NO! I have reasons for using the 250 square exclusively.) - Continuing "free $100 offers" to do AdWords arbitration. (I have information sites only, I sell nothing.)
Historically, I read that "If you use arbitration, you will be banned. PERIOD." I have NEVER read, subsequently, that AdSense says that "AdWords arbitration is NOW OK".
They trained me well. I will NEVER click on any AdSense ad (mine or otherwise). I will NEVER attempt AdWords arbitration. "Let's do what AdSense suggests, and see if Google Search executes me." NO - NO - NO - NO - NO. I still believe that I would be an idiot to try that. Why Google would use "entrapment" techniques is beyond my comprehension. But apparently, they do. Or possibly, this is just a result of the "stone wall" between Search and AdSense - the left hand not talking to the right hand. This forces me to read between the lines, and always select the conservative option. This becomes exacerbated, when sometimes, the left hand does not even talk to the left hand.

ha ha, my issue with the box not showing on my home page was with the code. Komposer kept removing the line break after <script type="text/javascript"><!--
And that's why it worked when I ran it through my ad server.

10% here. May earnings still up 20% over April, so at least it's moving in the right direction. I have a hunch why I lost as much as I did, tried to correct the problem mid month. Hopefully June will be better.

Back to 3% again last month, which I expected since I never had the super high CTR days that I was having in the previous month. Having said that, i do appear to be having one today although the clicks don't appear to be coming from my index pages.

1.2% but because it was the best month ever, that turned out to be more than I'd like. No help for it though.

0% change between estimated and finalized for June. May was maybe off a buck or two.
@ Sally Stitts
Interesting comments. Congrats on your income. I agree about text ads and not following their suggestions. I also like the 250X250 ad unit, going to try it more from now on.
One question: You said you use "one block per page", do you mean ONE single ad per page? I use all three, all the same size, all in similar centered locations (with varying success).

how can you all see finalized earnings so soon? they show me that around 15th, maybe because they send me cheques?

Best month of the year with the least amount of earnings taken back. How much they took out during the month is a mystery.
