Hi all,
Actually i m a new user and i dont know much about publishing.I would like to ask that what is the role pf page impressions in generating revenue.
Is it true the more page impressions can generate more revenue if a user click on adds?
I m asking this because i have a very low page impression and a friend of mine told me that in order to get more revenue from clicks i have to increase my page impression. is it true?and how it works?
Please reply guys.
Thanks.

Page impressions does not have any bearing on your earnings per click. However, you will obviously make more overall when you have more traffic. But Google doesn't give a higher EPC to one publisher over another simply because one has higher impressions than another.

Better to think in terms of visitors first and then page impressions. - One of the common metrics used is "out of 100 people, 1 will do what you want .. i.e. click an ad"

Increase gross visits from real semi-qualified peeps is the way to go .. possibly that's what was meant by more page views.
