Google issues a "clarification" today - you can only use ONE 300 x 600 on a page.
That's one more per page than I have. ;)

I've added this ad size to one page. It's been a week now and so far CPC is low. I'll wait a month to see what happens before I axe it.

Mine are averaging about $.55/click. CTR is much lower, but I'd expect that because it's entirely below the fold.
What I think I'll do now is evenly rotate a 300 x 600 and a 300 x 250 in the same spot, and see what it looks like.

I'm seeing either a huge image ad or one text ad in a space designed to hold, what, at least six? Maybe 8? It looks horrible, one lonely text ad in a huge blank space.

It wouldn't be so bad if that big empty space you're seeing with the single text ad collapsed to the size of that ad allowing whatever is beneath it to move up the page.

Tested 300X600 on one site. I'm up 75% on that site in revenue. I swapped a 300X250 to the 300X600 Dec 12th and saw immediate improvement. We'll see how it goes.

My CPC has risen quite nicely with this ad size on one of my pages over the last few days. New advertisers I suppose. If it continues to work well, I'll try another one of these on another page.

To those using this large adblock....
How are the fill rates doing for this size image ad?
I suppose you need to have it set to image only to see that stat.

I don't think you can set it to image only yet - not sure they have enough images. As an advertiser, they sure haven't made any big push to encourage me to create 300x600 ads.
