September 2012 AdSense Earnings and Observations

I will start this thread this time, by saying I just got switched to the new payment page and I have *finalized* earnings today? Didn't realize that went with the package.

Good weekend; I couldn't live off it but it was four times better than last Labor Day.

Click count just started coming in the eleventh hour here. Was pretty much dead all day until now. Unfortunately, earnings won't break 40% but glad to see SOME movement, late as it is.

I seemed to be heading for a disastrous day but like Play_Bach clicks and earnings came in during the last few hours from the US and I ended up with just above an August average day.

I'm really puzzled as to what traffic Google are sending since for the past four weekends my Sunday page views have been 95.9% of Saturday's yet my earnings have been 50.3%.

That's one heck of a difference and seemingly a bit more than a coincidence.

Horrible Tuesday, lowest working day for ages especially with UK and Canada EPC at 25% of average plus India at 40%, what's with that?

Otherwise regular CTR and click volume.

Yesterday was kinda meh. Not great, not horrible.

Yesterday earnings came in at 50%, making it the best day of the month so far. Would have been even better if I hadn't lost a $3 click! Same thing already happened today as well. I see a $3 click, then I don't. :-|

Ok, only 5 days into the month however my best day so far with some great EPCs on my Coppermine gallery mostly from the US.

Slow start of September - low value clicks with traffic on the rise.

SERP's gets better and better over time, but Adwords revenue doesn't seem to follow this trend.

Already beating yesterday - seem to have a large number of well paying clicks from the US, just hope they're all legitimate.

One click for over $25.00, only click on that custom channel that's why I know its from one click. Someone screwed up in adwords or are in a generous mood to us publishers. Either way I will take it. (if it holds)

The way Adwords (supposedly) works, you'd need two advertisers to simultaneously screw up to get an unusually massive click. One of the reasons I (still) suspect a CPA element is in play.

Below average month so far for me. An now some idiot from India has click bombed an ad 18 times. G took the $1.12 of coarse.

Also seeing click bombing today for the first time in my account. One ad was clicked 633 times. I removed the ads from the site. Not sure if I should report this because in Analytics I see no revenue for the fake clicks which is fine.

Another good day for my Coppermine gallery, page views way up compared to recently, something's changed, once again US earnings solid. Now all I need to do is keep repeating days like this and get back the traffic my directory site lost in May 2011!

I did make a deliberate modification to half my gallery starting August 1st and the earnings have been consistently better, I'd better do the other half now...that's the weekend gone then.

Yesterday was the lowest day since April, but then by 10AM this morning it was already five times yesterday. More evidence for delayed clicks. Whatever, as long as it averages out okay, I'm good.

I definitely think there are delayed clicks going on somewhere. Today sucks by comparison to yesterday. I think you can only go by monthly averages.

Yup. Stuck today big time. Yesterday earnings were the lowest all month at just 20% even though ad requests were the highest by nearly 40%. That sucks. :-(
