I had my first click bomb last night. It was a single page view from north carolina with over 250 clicks. Adsense smart priced the clicks, and I filed an invalid click report less than two hours after it happened. I average over a thousand legitimate clicks a day, so hopefully this is such a small pebble in the pond that adsense won't ban my account. I have sense implemented measures to at least help minimize the risk of this happening on my site in the future.
My main concern is that my earnings and clicks are fairly large, losing my account would be a big loss. In your experience, does this mean I'm less likely to be banned for this? I can see adsense banning an account that usually gets 10 clicks a day that gets click bombed, but it would make sense that percent of invalid clicks plays in to it as well, right?
Does anyone with a fairly large adsense account have first hand experience about being click bombed once? It was pretty cut and dry - one page view, 250 clicks - but I know we are the ones responsible for the traffic we send to adsense. I'm just looking for others experiences with this situation, especially with a rather large adsense account.
Thanks in advance.
