Hello friends,

I have recently started my website, after first 6 months, I have started using my google adsense, I can see a huge between my page impression in google adsense and google analytics shows High pageviews as compared to google adsense. Can you please guide me whats wrong, Even I have noticed major fluctation in my CTR and ecpm, they are not constant @ all.

Please clear my all doubts abt the same.

The main reason for this is because AdSense reports are specific to ads, while Analytics reports are related to all of your web traffic. It really is like comparing apples to oranges. The difference could be caused by things like lack of relevant ads, or an ad view might only count once when it is shown multiple times to the same viewer.

That being said, there is a correlation of sorts. I've noticed that in general, when AdSense is higher then so is Analytics, and vice-versa. The difference for my site is typically that Analytics page views run around 20% higher than AdSense ad views. This is not any sort of standard. Other sites will vary. However, if your disparity is very large then I suspect your site is showing a large number of PSA ads.
