Firstly my password was not recognised, switched browsers and logged-in however I've not been able to get past the first page yet!

Is it today when we HAVE to switch to the NEW interface?

I dunno if they listed a firm date (don't remember) but I had the strong impression it was *really soon*

I'm still getting in ok to both. However, I did see one of those yellow highlighted notes last night in the "old" interface that it was being shut down soon (maybe now they're rolling this update out and it just hasn't hit my account yet).

Just logged in ( to test it for you :-)..can log in to the old interface OK..it is still saying that the new one will be better blah blah blah ..and the try it and go to links work..Nothing about today being a final date in there ..and the "new interface" still has the option to "return to the old interface" at the top..

Although like netmeg ( don't remember if they said it was today ) maybe they did ..maybe not ..

My sympathies go out to you ..:)"can't look at your stats hourly" withdrawal must really be bad :))..it is beer o'clock ..pour yourself one and "chill"..it will all be there later..:)

I think they said the middle of November for the switch.

Tis beer o'clock for some however not yet for me, in fact not for another 3 hours...I have some of my far flung staff here this week and loads of miles to drive on UK roads...arghhh:-(((

I'm logged in on the OLD interface right now.

At the top of the screen near my total earnings for the day there is a highlighted message that reads:

"This interface will be shutdown mid November. Please try the NEW interface."

Hmm, I don't see any highlighted message mentioning November, just "Try the new AdSense interface" in red. I'm in Canada and I like the old interface, why do I have to change to the new one? And tell those blasted kids to get off my lawn!

That's not the reason. I too am in the UK, and everything is working fine.

I've long noticed that if I happen to visit the AdSense site twice in the same user session (usually FF) the second time I go in, I'll get the old interface, even though I permanently switched to the new interface long ago.

Now I notice that even though I switched to the new interface, now I'm getting the old interface with the yellow stripe admonishing me to switch by Mid November.

I think AdSense is borked.

(And also, my stats haven't moved for hours either)

"(And also, my stats haven't moved for hours either)"

Same here, ever since I flipped over to the new interface and then flipped back almost 2 hours ago. Did I bust something? Does the new interface update daily or something? Grr, now I dislike it even more!

This interface will be retired in mid-November. Please switch to the new AdSense interface today.

Stats not updated for hours here either. The old interface seems to be stuck, as is the new.

It's just a problem with the stats updating today period. My guess? It MAY have to do with the transition of interfaces, but it definitely has nothing to do with switching from old to new UI. After 11 years I've only experienced one other delay of reporting with adsense.

As a business person I can understand the reason for google's lack of customer service (well I can understand WHY they might choose to not invest into CS even though I don't agree - I think they could lift profits with a bit more human interaction), but why in the WORLD don't they have a simple script where admins can post announcements at the top of the page to all google users (i.e. adsense users) when they KNOW of an issue?

Geeze - they could even use their messaging system. I was searching for past adsense reporting delays and found a few posts where google employees literally posted in forums such as webmasterworld. I mean, thats great, but come 'on? Take a moment to alert your CUSTOMERS! :D

Sorry for the rant, and I for one, actually love Google... :D

..huh?
UI means User Interface!..and "transition" = "switching"..! :)

I think it's a "glitch" ...definitely isn't a "glitch" though..

btw... we ( adsense publishers ) are not the "customers" ..the visitors and the advertisers are..in that order ..usually..

After 11 years I've only experienced one other delay of reporting with adsense.

Google only launched adsense in 2003 ..that is just 8 years ago..or 8 years and 6 months ago to be precise.
