Ads from one particular advertiser don't load

Display "Loading..." message, but never load

I've been running Adsense since 2003, and this is the first time I've seen this problem. Just in the past month, some of my Adsense ads have been loading slowly -- so slowly, in fact, that they display a blank space and the word, "Loading..." They also display a tiny snippet of text at the bottom of the ad that reads, "Fares found recently. Click for more info." Nothing in the ad is clickable except the word "click." That little snippet of text clues me into the fact that this is one particular advertiser's ads that are having this problem. (Search the text of the snippet and you'll quickly figure out the advertiser.)

My website contains a mix of both Wordpress and static HTML pages; the problem occurs in both environments.

I'm going to try blocking the advertiser to see what happens. Unfortunately, this is a rather large advertiser -- about a third of the ads on my website.

Anyone ever encounter this problem before? Anyone have even the slightest idea what might be going wrong and how to fix it?

Just to clarify, the other ads are loading just fine, including the dynamic ones.

Best thing to do is contact Adsense support.
Here's a link to a form specifically for ads not showing:

If the ad is taking up the entire ad block, it could be a Flash ad.
Have you tried a different browser to see if it makes a difference?

Since my new 24mbps line came live I've noticed this happens quite often now with AdSense, at 8mbps it very rarely happened.

Yeah, it's not a browser issue...I can replicate the effect on other computers, on other networks. Thanks, Leonard0, for the form. I wouldn't have found that. Not sure I'll actually get an answer, but maybe this problem is unique enough that someone over there will be intrigued....

Well, I contacted Adsense support -- they asked me to unblock the advertiser (so they could see what was going on), which I did, and voila, no more problem...at least not for now. I'll monitor those ads and report back here if the problem re-emerges.

Very, very weird.
