Improved Ranking Vs Reduced Earning

40% traffic increased, 25% Earning Reduced

I have been observing the issue form last 3 months. For one of my major client, who has got many websites for adsense, and sites are really improving for the ranklings and the unique traffic form the engines, plus Gads impressions are also increasing in the adsense account, but the Cpm of the website is getting reduced every month.

I have heared something that when your account reach 5 figure monthly earning, it goes on manual checkcing and then they put some smart pricing tag there where they share the less revenue with the publisher.

i have test quality of the traffic, keyword and the ranking, but nothing improved in adsense earning.

should we split account. We have over 2M ads impressions in the gads account...

pls suggest......

Unfounded rumors ...

Traffic may be increasing, but who are the new visitors coming in? Are they the ones likely to click on the ads? Or are they the ones that are more likely to ignore the ads.

Traffic increase, if it brings users not likely to click on the ads, then that could bring your CPM plummeting.

If you have Google Analytics, check in the Adsense section the traffic sources where your Adsense dollars come from -- and make sure you get the most traffic increase from those traffic sources

traffic increase means they are coming from the engines by the keywords and some of them are from the various other sources.

As far as the manual checking is concerned, i reach over 12k a month for ads in april. One day i got a message from support team that one of my site is not showing ad correctly, and after that day, my 2 top sites 4 figure a month has been banned for ads.

And there were nothing wrong with those sites. even had consult with experts as well, to know what is wrong with my sites for adsense policy, and they found nothing.

i had sent many messges to support team to know what exactly issue is, but got nothing. so this is what i experienced and i had also been told about this manual checking or smart pricing issue when u reach 5 figure in ads...........

but ultimately my 2 sites are lost, looking to split accounts..

Many more who earn less than 5 digits a month also get the same manual check from Google. Something triggered the manual check, and your site in their view failed the check.

Comb through the Adsense guidelines again, and again. While you may say there's nothing wrong with those sites, something was wrong in Google's eyes. And you need to find that and correct that.
