my site is 100% webdesign related, layouts etc

so, how the heck do I get ads showing Gay Dating!

something is surely broken with adsense, and showing ads like this definitely won't sit well with my customers

not that i have any probs with the ad, im sure they work well with, NOT webdesign sites

could it be because i blocked a generic dating ad this morning, and this is payback hahahahha

cheers

Boring answer: look at your keywords list. Anything on there have more than one definition? "There is no quicker way of dating your site than to..." Do you have lots of warnings against doing the same thing over and over again? Discussion of hot colors and cool colors? Explanations of the best location or position for elements on a page? Let's stop there.

How about your Top Searches in gwt-- the ones you gloss over because they're so stupid and irrelevant and never result in actual visits? A human can tell that you haven't got what they're looking for, but a word-crunching computer can't. Come to think of it, even the word "search" can trigger the wrong associations, depending on what other words are in the vicinity.

You do not want to know the kinds of searches that lead people to "Grandmother Puss, or the Grateful Mouse". Let's just say they are not looking for an 1880-vintage picture book. And then there was the one who wanted to know why duct tape wouldn't stick to galvanised iron. You're asking me? Well, just my bad luck that I quoted a politician's description of deteriorating water pipes. That was good enough for the computer.

Always a problem - mention any sort of "club" on a page and you get ads for lap dancing clubs. Not good if its something like a kids after school club.

Category blocking is pretty good now but one or two do slip through.

Unfortunately, rannans, you can only block 50.

Does anyone know if the AdSense preview tool still works?

[google.com...]

Whenever I go to my website a lot of the time I see are ads that are targetted for my personal preference. So simply browsing your website probably isn't a good way to see what others will see.
