I'm using a non-Google search engine for one of my sites and I'm not sure if that counts as a non-content page and shouldn't have any Adsense, or is it allowed to run Adsense on the results pages?

Anyone know?

I would err on the cautious side with that one and leave it off.

That's what I've been doing so far, erring on the side of caution.

ASA, if you see this, can you tell us if it's ok?

By my understanding, that's perfectly kosher. I believe this is what Asterpix SearchLight does. Also, try requesting permission to get in on Adsense for Search Ads Only: [code.google.com...] .

Other option is to use a Google CSE.
