I kept checking it here in NC until about 3am ( I was up playing World of Warcraft anyway....lol) - and never got PIP. But I see that it's PIP now - so I guess now the question is....does it get deposited later today, tomorrow or Monday. I'm thinking Monday.
I think we all know we're gonna get paid - that's not really the point of a thread like this. I think it's just nice to converse with others that are wondering when we'll get paid. It's like talking to co-workers about "if we'll get a holiday bonus". It's not a big deal....but nice to know someone else is waiting...wondering. Camaraderie is a good thing :-)
(Hey Sabre! I'm not a native of NC - (actually a Hoosier) - but I love it here in the mountains of NC!)

PIP, EFT, Canada - thanks Google! Wish MIB would be tomorrow instead of Monday, though. Geez, I can use my credit and debit cards over the weekend, what excuse do the banks have for not processing EFTs?

My money is in my bank and available at 9AM local time on the next business day after the day I see PIP.
The best thing for you to do is to call your bank and ask - different banks do it differently.

PIP Sydney but no MIB as it usually is on the last Saturday [our time] each month.
Rare to be out of that well known pattern. Maybe someone took a few says off.
[ADDED] I do really wish AdSense would put payment history in reverse order. What's the point to having to scroll down so far?
Yes I've complained in the past when you could complain.

PIP EFT Central California - Friday February 25, 2011 - 11 AM PDT
what excuse do the banks have for not processing EFTs?
It's called "float" - another way that banks screw us, by collecting a day's interest on our money, before we get it.
We are supposed to be happy if it is only 1 day. Some banks do 2 or 3 days, foreign banks even more. .

Has anyone ever had PIP on Friday and been able to use their money or see the deposit on Saturday? I am sure my bank will wait until Monday - but just didn't know if some banks actually "let you" have your money on Saturday.

what excuse do the banks have for not processing EFTs?
My bank in Australia openly admits [in writing to me] it doesn't employ staff on weekends to process these types of transactions. The same applies if I pay accounts online on a weekend.
And silly me thought computers ran everything.

My wonderful bank will take money out of my account on weekends but will not post deposits until Monday.
what excuse do the banks have for not processing EFTs?
They don't need an excuse. They are a bank and do what they want.

Well I checked mine around 3pm today and my "PIP" is there. I do remember one time getting my PIP on a Thursday but the money showed up in my account on a Saturday - that only happened once.
There was one time when I got PIP on a Friday BUT was able to spend some of the money on a Saturday but that was with a different bank and it was about a year ago.
I do remember talking to someone at my bank about this process. I didn't even know that it was considered a "direct deposit" until they called it that (I just always thought of it as an EFT which probably means the same thing). Well anyways the bank person that I was talking to said that when one gets a deposit on a Friday it won't get credited to the account until Monday BUT you had better check first just to make sure.

The banks do not deposit our funds over the weekend because they need it to make bids and buy some equities and stocks on Friday and sell early Monday morning. They petty much invest with our money without paying us a dime of interest. In actuality, we pay them for an incoming wire fee.
What a beautiful system we have.

"Even Amazon beat Google"
I wish Amazon would do international EFT like Google. Would save me $10 each time I bank the cheque.

I had PIP some 2 - 3 days ago, I think it was, and I have just gotten an email from Google saying the money is on its way. Its March here; can't remember the last time the payment didn't fall in the month - they normally only make the June payment in the next month. I suppose February is a short month! MIB will show up when it shows up.

Anyone else received an email from AdSense saying [essentially]:

I believe it's kosher.

Hmmm... I have MIB too - I didn't expect it that quickly after the email. Clearly, PIP is no longer a useful indicator (it was only ever very rough, more like a marker showing things were proceeding correctly); the email says to expect MIB in a few hours.

Same here, same date.
Doesn't happen often, only twice in my memory since June, 2003
Having said that. Some incompetent, I believe, thought February had 31 days.
Before people jump in defence, just remember 40+ years ago I walked in the very same shoes.
Barring a catastrophic failure of systems, it is utterly unprofessional.
