Some drunk moron ran over my mailbox around halloween. I'm just wondering when I should expect to receive my payment for October. It said payment was approved on the 21st I beleive. I hope it wasn't in that day's mail.

Thanks,

Brian

Have you tried asking the company that actually sent the check?

Nobody has even been sent their cheque for October from Google yet - so don't worry. :) Are you referring to your cheque for September? If you haven't received it by now - get in touch with Google and ask them to reissue the cheque.

Hate it when that happens ;) LoL

Makes me think of the crazy guy down the street who had enough of kids hitting his mailbox so he installed a railroad tie into the ground as the new mailbox post - the problem is that is against federal law as I somehow strangely recall they have to break away for safety...

If there is something wrong with your mailbox, the delivery person will usually have the mail held at your local post office. I'd give them a call if you are missing mail.

Here in Maine, we have state trucks with snowplows that do it. Some residents have secured mailboxes that pivot on the end of a long arm. When the plow hits it, the mailbox and arm pivot around and come to rest at the starting point.

That doesn't mean we still don't run them over in a drunken stupor.

My mailbox is fortified with bricks. Too bad the postal service is not as reliable as my trusty mailbox;)

It's nice to live in a country where the postman drops your mail through your letterbox. Not much chance of a car hitting the front door!

My dad got run over by a tractor last week. What impact will this have on when I get my Adsense payment?

Your dad isn't a mailman?

Thanks for everyone's wisdom. ;) I was referring to October's payment. The drunk guy hit the mailbox after the mail had been delivered. My neighbor picked up some of my mail from the ground, including a check from another one of my ad sponsors. Just wanted to make sure Google wasn't supposed to be in there as well.

Thanks,

Brian

Brian_S, sorry to hear about your mailbox!

FYI if you're a U.S. publisher and your October payment still hasn't arrived by the end of November, you're welcome to request a reissue payment. International pubs, feel free to request a reissue payment if your payment hasn't arrived by December 9.
