Welcome ASA, it's a great to see someone from AdSense here and officially.

I wont do here nice chit-chatting about weather on Mountain view because there's pretty serious problems which troubles a lots of publishers everywhere.

Time to time I'm checking out forums dedicated to Google Adsense around the web , I mostly go on DP , here and official Adsense forum.
I notice that there are some serious and big problems with AdSense Basics and Policies .
There's tons of complaints to scrapper websites ( which are mostly yours publishers ) and Google AdSense Policy complaints about undefined/wrongly accused/without good reason to other GA publishers (posted on official Adsense forum ).

I spotted some interesting topic there which makes some of my doubts real >
[google.com ]

I will quote some parts of that topic on which I would like to get some answers from ASA.

Q: How many times as small publisher with original content did you report a violations of your website TOS?

A: Almost everyone did at least one but in last six months they did several times ( some of them a lot more). Mostly problem was with popular images from Google Image Search and high ranked articles.

Q: Can you tell me what was effects of reporting infringers to Google AdSense and did you spot something else or strange ?

A: They said mostly that Google AdSense didnt do NOTHING AT ALL with violators and they still stealing and scraping everything from medium and small websites with original content ! I checked that websites and guess what ? They are all premium Google Adsense publishers, interesting ... I will name some of this websites : www.fanpop.com, www.flash- screen.com, www.graphicshunt.com and www.blingcheese.com ( I see some you starting to boil of this website names ).They also spamming and stealing others SE ranking ( this things getting on my nervs ) too. And on top of all, they get after some time wired and undefined Google AdSense Policy complaints. They never said to them which page(s) or what specific is not comply with AdSense policie. Yes, they never got real reason for complaining but about fifty Small/Medium Google AdSense publishers got banned from Google AdSense or getting Google AdSense ad serving disabled on their websites.

Are you really defending premium Google Adsense publishers dispute numerous violations against yours TOS ?
They stealing and scraping everyone's original content and they didnt get banned at all ?

This is huge and serious problem.

I discovered that mostly smaller publishers are shut down after complaining to Google AdSense because infringers which are REAL PROBLEM and they still doing the same things like before : stealing and scraping everything and everyone with original content! So Google AdSense is defending thefts, scrapers, spammers and thieves of others original content because they are premium Google Adsense publishers.

This is something which makes me wonder, afraid and shocked.

What's more disturbing, funny and sad in the same moment , websites like these wallpapersonweb.com ,www.wallconvert.com, picsdigger.com , www.sxriore.com, cartoonsphotofy.com ,hotpicturestop.com/ ,phototravellerpic.com , www.bysio.com , www.pictures.com having Google ads for months and I know that you received Policy complaints (I bet hundreds complaints ) against them but you never react on them.

This issue was ( and still IS ) obviously to everyone but why you didnt react ?

We'll appreciate to give us some honestly statements about these questions.
Please without neutral and undefined answers.

Thank you

Move from the previous thread because it was off topic.

All of the quotes above appear from "hektors" in the Google AdSense Basics and Policies forum.

Normally we don't allow the outing of sites and such as above, but it's already public and can just as easily be seen via the link to the Google discussion.

Doubt anyone from Google will reply here any more than they did on Google's own forum, but we shall see.

macas, picsdigger lost their adsense account some time back. And if you go to their site, it says it is blocked.

As for Blingcheese, they are an affiliate of Photobucket.

Yes, picsdigger went down (thanks God ) but many others are still there and scraping more original content such as wallpapersonweb.com or shoponline2011.com ( for example ). You don't have to be blind to see their violations.

I know that they have been reported numerous times but no effects ... that's a problem.

And way not ?

What's that big problem which they can answer to me/us ?

It's not problem in tracking User-Generated Content or Auto-Generated Content who violated polices, it's more problem because they ignore them.

Google has clear policies on reporting scrapers, you send in a DMCA request.

Once you've done that, the scraper sites are dealt with.

So until you can get a content owner to send in a DMCA request you're just wasting your efforts.

@incrediBILL - I agree but will throw this in... I have hundreds of free files on my main site. I have original documents "watermarked" with my web site. Some are .pdf files and many are editable data files (such as powerpoint and excel and "word" files). I see copies of my files show up in many places such as Scribd, not to mention on other various web sites. I like that they do. Each document has my web site marked on it so I see it as advertising. I started that directory (you get a directory listing of all the files so it's just a right click {for Windoz users} and you have the file) specifically to spread my documents around for FREE. It's advertising. Quite a few of my files are even linked to in Wikipedia entries (I keep watch on Referrers in my log files).

I mention this just as an aspect of "content theft" which can be beneficial.
