Apart from a couple of "glitches" not a bad month.

October has been the best month we've had since June of 2009. Seems like we've weathered the worst of it and are on our way back up.
One major change is that we seem to be able to add page impressions without it making our CPM go down, which is a big change.
Pages which used to perform lousy with AdSense are now doing well. My theory is that this is interest-based advertising becoming more mature.

Bets month ever for me. Oct is going really well. If ti keeps up, it will beat out Sept, although it is a bit early in the month.

Comparing September 2010 to:
August 2010 +22% - mostly a seasonal fluctuation as expected.
September 2009 +110% - hard work forced on me by the sale of my main site earlier in the year.
Jan-Sept 2010 v 2009 +44% - that's at odds with the previous figure, I need to check that out in more detail to work out exactly what is happening.

Had a super great day Monday. Not record breaking day due to some site issues I had to fix that took a few hours, but it was very close. This morning stats are stuck. Statcounter shows a gazillion of clicks yet adsense only shows a handful.

September was my best month ever and I've been AdSensing for over six years. July had an RPM of $4.88 then August exploded to $7.10 with September at $8.61. A lot of this was fine tuning the site as a result of the "AdSense in you City" program. Around August 14 however I noticed a huge increase in the click thru rate and consequential revenue. I guess they started to send me better ads? I sure hope it continues.
I'm currently doing about 10% better revenues than six years ago. But then I've added A LOT more content!
