Okay, this may sound like the stupidest question I could ask but...;
Is it against the TOS to put Adsense for search in a forum signature? I haven't come across anything that says I can't yet, so...can I?
Thanks!

Funny you should say that I had someone ask me the same thing the other day too.

The ads can only be on a site "that you own or are legally authorised to act on behalf of for the purposes of Google AdSense" (see FAQ).

So you could in theory put them in your sig on your own forum (but NOT in forums elsewhere that you don't control). But it'd be easier just to put the ads in the page layout if you own the forum. :-)

I imagine it would be hard to guarantee that only 3 adsense codes showed up, once everyone else in the forum figured out what you were up to.

Don't forget it's very unlikely you would be able to use HTML (especialy Javascript) in your signature on someone elses forums.

Also, other than the point the very few forums allow HTMl in signatures, I doubt that the webmaster would be too happy. if it were on my forums i would be realy mad so...

Nope that would be against the adsense policy...
