Does Website Compression effect on adsense? ( gzip or mod_deflate etc.)

Why would it?

The browser decompresses the page before displaying it and running AdSense.

My CTR is = old ctr / 8 for almost 2-3 weeks
I try everything what I changed in last 2-3 weeks. compression is one of them.

Like incrediBILL said, compression is not a problem and no reason for a lower CTR.

I deliver my websites compressed since Jan 2009

Usual 5 kb instead of 18 kb uncompressed per page

But this is only one of several methods to improve load time.

Agreed. I gzip almost everything, minimize Javascript and CSS too.

CSS is in the html header and optimized to 1,8 kb uncompressed.

Javascript is loaded only at the end of the html file.

Only 2 pictures for all icons and logo,
I show from the 2 pictures only the part actual for this part of the page.

Before had been more than 30 small pictures.

All my stuff is compressed too. The slowest elements are invariably anything from Google (AdSense, Analytics)
