Ouch. At this rate, earnings will wind up at 1/3 of yesterday. :-|

I'm clueless on whether the stats are stuck or not. They were definitely stuck yesterday (26th) but moved to normal state by the time I went to sleep. I woke up this morning (27th)and see that, Impressions, clicks and ctr are fine but the epc and hence eCPM and earnings have tanked.

So disappointing. This weeks seems to be the best in term of impressions since the new Google look, but the 2 'stats stuck' that happened in this week will make me earn less than last week.
The earnings never recovered on both occasions.

I notice that some people have stuck stats but other people don't. I'm really worried, is there an actually stats problem at the moment or not?

My stats are moving but since the weekend when I first noticed my stats get stuck my daily figures have been about 20% down on days prior to the weekend. This does not correspond with my own web stats that shows no drop in traffic.

Stuck for me in India. Traffic higher than normal, but revenue 40 % down.

My logs showed Wednesday as a completely normal day, AdSense decided that it was a weekend with both my Page Impressions and Earnings down to those levels...Have the hamsters been retired and replaced with a non-functioning water wheel?

I had a great day yesterday [26th]... better than Sun, Mon, and Tues, which are normally better paying days.

So everyone will know, Monday is a holiday in the U.S. and there will be lots of people traveling and involved in other activities, some starting today (Thursday), through Monday.

Don't be surprised if you see lower activity from U.S. visitors until Tuesday as people are away from their usual routine.

Had the most amount of visitors all month yesterday, but earnings were only 50%.

My AdSense numbers are so far off today I had to check if ads were running! An extremely poor end to the month when it had been looking so much better/like normal last week.

Yep, I hope it will pick up in the last hour, but slim chances...
Bad figures!

SO I had one day of 40 % lower earnings. No click dump the next day. That looks like revenue vanished down the drain.

Earnings for May (like April) are well below average. CTR is down to about 1/4 of what it once was, no surprise earnings have taken a big hit. Depressing.

Depressing
Is the word of the day or month more like.

I'm calling it quits for the weekend, time to chill out and forget about it... until Monday.

There's a funny/cruel thing I've noticed; when I look at my google analytics it's telling me some of my sites are up 25% - 45% visits percent change from the previous month! (Woohoo!)

But that's almost the same percent drop in Adsense earnings! (Boohoo!)

It was the only highlight in an otherwise totally depressing widget trade day. I don't know where these "out of recession" stats are coming from but it sure as hell ain't the construction industry!

I also noticed that for about 3-4 weeks. First started with my stats showing referral traffic from a site in Taiwan. I visited the site but didn't find a link to my site. I didn't think much of it at first. Thought that it was just normal referral spam and they would just die off. But then, the 'traffic' started to reach really crazy levels. I was hitting nearly 50% higher than my normal figures. Problem was, somehow this traffic was also adding up my ad impressions. I figured enough was enough. Did some more digging :

- The sites (all 8 subdomains and the main site) suddenly were not accessible, but my stats were still registering hits from them.
- The 'traffic' from those sites were only landing on my homepage - nowhere else.
- Analytics showed the huge amount of hits translated into ZERO Adsense earnings. Somehow, this 'traffic' was registering ad impressions and burying my CTR and eCPM.

So I decided to ban the whole bunch of IP addresses. The past 3 days, numbers have tapered to normal, CTR and eCPM has gone back to normal.
Gotta keep an eye on the logs for a while to make sure this 'traffic' doesn't come back.

Me thinks you should do the same. Your spike in 'traffic' may be useless spam.

I have this with Google framed image impressions from social networking sites trying to hotlink my images for backgrounds. On those specific pages I've had to remove AdSense, at the same time I removed GA altogether from the sites.

I can easily see from my own logs the volume of false impressions...just coming up to 200,000 this month alone.

Only four hours left and on track for one of the lowest earning days in years. :-(

HuskyPup

12:55 pm on May 29, 2010 (gmt 0)

Surprisingly I was within 5% of my average daily earning's yesterday even though traffic and actual clicks were 16% down I obviously had some very healthy EPCs towards the end of the day.

But today...yikes...EPC down 60% so far however this is not an AdSense fault, I have no traffic, the world has imploded, the Net no longer exists...I predict my worst day of the year. Time to do some work whilst no one is looking at what I am doing:-)

It is Memorial Day three day weekend in the USA, so I expect low revenue due to decreased traffic, and possibly less advertisers.
