USA are having a holiday today.

Maybe that should be "somewhat of a holiday"

Government organizations are generally closed and banks/financial institutions are closed. But as far as everything else, I don't know how much is shut down for today. Around here, most of the private sector is working as usual.

Farmboy, it's the same in the UK when there is a bank holiday.

so would you say that it is common to have a slow down in traffic even on a banking holiday?

It depends where you get your traffic from.

For example, if you get a lot of visitors from schools, offices etc. then yes, you could see a drop in traffic.

YMMV

For the first time in ages Monday's stats almost seemed to be "real time" for me, my Page Impressions seemed a little slow early on however for the rest of the day they were fine.

Fine to the extent it was my highest click volume day this year and the highest since April 2009 and interestingly Monday 19th January 2009 was one of my highest click volume days of 2009.

My EPC was within it's normal range and the actual day's earnings were the highest since the end of November. Fingers crossed for more days like this.

My Google earnings yesterday, seemed par for the course for a Monday.

The reporting is still bizarre.

They're looking very slow today, Tuesday 19th, way, way behind at the moment compared to my logs.
