I've read the basic guidelines for the new rules..and am considering putting a notice that I actually earn something when anyone clicks on an Ad, even though the Ads clearly say..."Ads by Google."

Is anyone else doing similar or am I being paranoid..?

thanks everybody

Most of the ads on my site are plainly labeled "SPONSORED LINKS" and always have been just to avoid confusion.

That sounds like a good way to violate Google's ToS and have your AdSense account terminated.

The FTC will most likely notify you first if you need to add a disclaimer before they take any action. (They are mostly worried about affiliate programs and thier fake testimonials.) Adding that disclaimer will most likely violate Google's TOS.
