Is my CTR and eCPM too low?

Hi,

I have a site that offers an online pool game and my CTR and eCPM are extremely low. (CTR 0.52% eCPM $0.24).

Is this extremely low? Should I try something else to monetize my site?

I'm getting 10,000 to 14,000 unique visitors a day.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

While that is a very low CTR and eCPM, its probably about normal for a game site. Sorry, game players come to play... and they are notorious for not clicking ads.

Thanks dibbern2, thats what I thought... I can try to add a "loading page" with adsense and present it to the gamer before his game actually loads for 5 seconds or so, but maybe thats very agressive and intrusive. What do you think?

It's also probably against TOS, since it's not really a content page, more like an interstitial.
