Stats haven't moved an inch for hours. Overall earnings are down ~75% from normal levels.

<grabs a drink>

I really should cut back on the stat checking.

well, moving extremely slow, and in cents, not dollars.
The day started well, but has slowed/stopped for the last few hours.

Same here, just had a high amount of traffic in the last several hours, but my Adsense only showed cents. What does "stuck" mean exactly? The earnings are showing up slowly, or it's not registering at all?

They are showing up properly for me (though I can't say if they are slow or not) as the overall earning this month was a kind of low! *Too soon to judge*

Hope to get the money right on track..

Horrible day for me as well. Very low clicks showing. Yesterday wasn't too hot, either. In fact, month to date is pathetic.

poooor?
My impressions are normal but everything else is zero! They must be having trouble fitting in those long numbers in my earnings column...

CTR is down 50%. This is starting to seriously annoy me.

@andrewshim lol sorry that made no sense.. I meant the revenue should increase by next week or so.. happens with me everytime.

And today the stats are stuck again. Oh GOD! Now I am starting to feel that online earnings isn't consistent anymore!

Earnings down 50%+ starting in October. Don't know what happened. Hope it turns around.

Big drop in CTR since the start of Oct too. Very confused as it's happened across several large sites. I hope it's just a temporary blip.

The lag in reports is getting worse over time. It used to be the lag would cause a lower-than-normal day of earnings, followed by a higher-than-normal day, and the result was two average days.

More recently the lag lasted two days. I experienced it on 10/31 and 11/1. On 11/1 the earnings figure was approx 30% of average, which caused some concern, especially since it was the second lower-than-average day in a row. Anyway, these two days were followed by two really good days, 11/2 and 11/3, resulting in an average week so far. Today’s revenue is as normal as it gets.

I think what we are seeing here is related to some human verification of clicks that trigger certain conditions. For example, a click over 50 cents might require verification, or too many clicks within a given time frame might trigger a human audit.

Continuing on the human verification theory, it's also possible that certain events will lower the threshold. For example, if Google knows there's a Trojan that maliciously clicks their links, they might require more verification than normal. An event like this could cause the lags we experience.

Another possibility - again assuming that my human verification theory is correct - is that Google is as affected by the economy as anyone else. It's possible that they are simply understaffed and can't verify all of the clicks on the same day they are received.

The only consistency I have ever seen was from one month to the next. I'd like to think that we can rely on a weeks' worth of data, but even that's not dependable.

The biggest problem with these lags - and hopefully someone at Google will read this - is that you can't accurately measure the impact of a website update, or the success of an advertising campaign. If I make a change and it coincides with a lag in reporting, then how will I know it was a lag and not my change that caused the drop in revenue? I understand that I could leave it in place for a week, but am I supposed to eat $20 or $30 a day for a whole week until I finally accept that it's really a negative impact and not a lag in reporting?

@tim222 - Exactly my point. I made a few changes to the website last week and when I saw a drop in earnings of Adsense, I was totally surprised and yesterday I had to remove all those additional changes I made on the website.

Guess what? Stats still displays lower earning.. so the changes weren't the real factor. But it's hard to determine if adsense are lagging or they have implemented some new algorithm or.. umm :(

I've been stuck with the same figure for the last couple of hours and that is unusual. So, I know it's stuck, just waiting for a good click dump!

I dont know whats going on but yesterday was a good 45% down from our moving average. Today is looking no better. Wonder if it's related to the incident in Texas?

How did your traffic numbers look? If your traffic help up, I'd guess the a drop in AdSense isn't related to the Texas incident.

My AdSense was down yesterday. So far the month has been really erratic. Up, down, up, down, etc. A little bigger swings than usual, but not all that far out of the normal for me.

Traffic numbers were slightly up from average, one thing that stands out is ctr being down quite a bit from norm. Today looks the same.

On the whole revenue has been moving modestly up lately so I cant complain but the swings these last few days have been violent.

the swings these last few days have been violent.

Strange, I've had the best and most consistent start to a month for the entire year with daily average earnings up 25% over last month however today the numbers are completely in the pan.

After nearly 33% of a Google Day I'm looking at 14% of this month's and 17.5% of last month's average daily earnings. Flush please !
