Did someone here changed the account currency from US$ to Euro or to CHF? Did you notice lower earnings after that or not?

I remember there was a lot of people saying that earnings will be lower because of the difference in VAT between US and Europe. Is that true?

The currency change has nothing to do with VAT. I changed end of June. Since the US$ is declining, it's an advantage to have all immedeately converted and not only after to the end of the next month.

Can you explain please why this is independent of VAT? As I understand it, VAT in Ireland is 2x bigger than in US.

Also, did you changed to € or CHF?

Thanks!

There is no VAT between US and EU,
it's treated as "export" and is free of VAT

and between Irland and publishers in other EU contries.

I have an EUR account now since end of June

Since CH is not in the EU, it's seen as an export,
exports are VAT free.
