I have a channel (the main one for a blog I run) that is showing this at the moment:

Impressions: 1,394
Clicks: 7
CTR: 0.50%
CPM: $0.00
Earnings: $0.00

How can that be? 7 clicks and nothing?

It's likely they were "invalid clicks", more info here:

Thanks for the response - but both of those links are for AdWords - the advertisers end. I don't know why Google would even show the clicks in my AdSense account - the publishers end - if they are invalid. If they are invalid, they aren't clicks - so why even report them?

If you are using the "Allowed Sites" feature, you may need to add this domain to that list. I remember seeing the same thing for a new site: Impressions, clicks, and no revenue.

Once I added it to the Allowed Sites list, I started seeing some revenue.

Hope this helps

It does happen from time to time, although I don't think I've ever seen 7...

Many of the search engines including Google and Bing do cache the results. When someone loads that page, that page is framed, which means for Adsense the name of the site from where your ad is showing is not your url, but the url of the search engine. It could be an ip addresses many times. This is the case where all sites are not allowed as mentioned here by mactavish.

I think there are other cases which I personally think happens.... at least it has happened with me. The user clicks on an ad.... then the ad does not load. This could be because there could be some connection error whereby though a click is made... the page from where redirection is made is not loading..... also cases where user stops the page from loading after clicking because it is loading slow decides to move on to another page.

I mean suppose a person clicks on an ad, it should be going to [googleads.g.doubleclick.net...] from where it will be redirected, but due to some problem the page is slow to load and takes all the eternity or does not load at all... and the user loses patience and stops the page from loading and moves to another page...

I get "Security Error: Content at [googleads.g.doubleclick.net...] may not load data from eg [webmasterworld.com...] and adsense does not load properly on my website... Has anyone got such errors ?
