I have a channel that show 59 clicks for today and $0 for earned.
yesterday at one point it was 75 clicks and $0.
then it went to 76 clicks and I earned $0.16.
But, in the end I still only got $0.00 for 141 clicks.

All my other channels are working fine.

Wow! I've seen some "My eCPM is Low" threads before but never all the way down to zero. Can't get any worse than that. I think I'd try another advertising program in that channel. Even if it's lousy it has to be better than zero!

That low much have a reason somewhere, are you showing PSA ads ? (do they still exist, not seen one in an eternity).
Invalid clicks is another alternative reason, although I'm not sure they come all that immediate.

I've seen a "dummy link" via a graphic on some site to one of my pages. At one clip there were 170 impressions, no clicks, $0.0 earnings.

It's gotta be some kind of a bot, and the offending site is using other people's product photos as content.

Have you checked corresponding backlinks?

Yeah - they're still there. The other day I visited the official homepage of an internationally known actor, and there they were - PSAs all over the place. I guess that Adsense probably did not have a matching inventory for that site.

i think ill kill this page. somethings wrong. maybe someone going click happy and an advertiser complaining. i dont know. whatever it is...its not good for me im sure.
3 days of this with over 500 clicks = $0.35

what do you think?

>what do you think?

I'd pull Adsense off that page, which is what I did with the page that was having the worthless bot-links.

Maybe you could put an affiliate banner up on the page (from a network) so you can have tracking to see if the worthless clicks continue - without jeopardizing Adsense.

Have you looked through your logs to see if it's all coming from the same place?

I'd absolutely pull that AdSense channel, no matter what else you do.

59 clicks = $0.00 !

Look at the bright side. At least you don't owe them money.

I killed the ads on this page. Maybe I'll put them back in a month.

Thanks

yep having a bad day over 500 clicks but earnings are sub 1 cents clicks!

The way adsense is treating me for the last couple of weeks something is horribly wrong with the same or its time to reduce adsense to a secondary network

Something is wrong with that. Where is your traffic coming from?

You people with all these clicks need to learn how to read your log files!

I know my traffic its a huge portal in India and basically Indian traffic that I target. the irony is that other ad networks offers me at-least 6 cents / click but I am still giving ad-sense a chance coz I have been with them from a long time.

But as things are moving ahead it look very bad averaging just around 2-2.5 cents with adsense for the last couple of months and now its starting to hurt.

It really might help if you implement some section-targeting into the site - you know - only target words/phrases that you want the adsense spiders to crawl for.....

If you're get zero for clicks I have to agree that it could be because of PSA's and / or invalid clicks

I think they don't register PSA clicks in your stats.

My teenage son started up tech blog at Blogger a year ago and he's finally getting some steady traffic - 400 or so impressions per day. Even so, many days he doesn't get a single click. He got zero yesterday and is still at zero 1/2 through the day today.
He's not complaining as his blog is a hobby and he's closing in on the $100 milestone - might get paid end of October. Any comments or suggestions would be welcome :o)

Has your son submitted his blog to blog directories? And has he tried to promote through social networking?

I am starting from scratch. New blog. Not monetized.
I have 2 years experience running AdWords campaign for a manufacturing company in a niche market with only two keywords that made any sense competing for. Top competition for the number one spot was their own best wholesale customer(a nonexclusive dealer)..the largest internet retailer of the product. During the holidays the top price per click could change four or five times a day($1-$4 range). Other less successful retailers (exclusive dealers) of this manufacturer forced the factory to compete to stay no lower than number three spot. Even though the down economy has lowered the bid price for this company and forced them to cut expenses.(ahem...that would include my services!), they still are forced to compete for that number three spot. Google Adwords is crucial to their leads and to their appearance as a leader in their market. So if you are experiencing bad revenue from the same volume of traffic and click throughs, be assured that AdWords is just as important if not more so in this tough economy. I bare the scars from this.
And no, I don't work for Google.

It just goes to show you that Adsense earnings aren't totally dependent upon the number of traffic visits you get! My site(s) have far less traffic than what you mentioned but I still manage to eek out the $100 minimum for the past 2 years!

could they be non-profits ad clicks?
