I've just had a look at the front page of one of our sites, and staring back at me is one of my own adwords ads, which should point straight at the page its being served on! (Of course I can't click it to verify)
I've been running adwords and adsense for years and never seen this happen before - and before anyone says, it's not intended for arbitrage.
Does anyone know if this has always been possible? I'm also seeing the same ads in both ad units (there are 2) on the same page so i'm wondering if the issue from a few weeks back is rearing its head again.
I'm also seeing unusually low EPC today too after stability for about 6 months, but that may not be related.
Of course I can't click it to verify
Right click and copy link location to a text editor.
Put your site as example.com in the "competitive ad filter" of AdSense setup and see if that helps.
Obviously the keywords in your campaign lead to your pages.

Either way - I'm a bit surprised G will allow an ad to appear on the page the ad points to!
Does anyone know if this has always been possible?
It's not supposed to happen however I have seen it several times. Duplicate ads are also not supposed to appear but this happens regularly on my sites especially image ads.
