Stat Attack - June 1st 2009

Stats stuck again.

Anyway else seeing stuck stats? They were stuck yersterday too.

Yep. Stuck. But yesterday they caught up nicely in the afternoon, and I hope they will do the same today.

I don't understand why you people everyday make a stats stuck people. Not saying just you but other people to. Go outside take a breather don't check your stats every 5 mins and it will all catch up. Checking them every 5 mins is probably why they get stuck because your overloading the server with the 1,000's of people hitting refresh at the same time it bogs and takes a sec to catch up.

Misery loves company...it's a reassurance "thing"...many of us work alone from home and like to feel we're on top of things even though we may not be!

It's harmless, it can be fun...enjoy, I always check mine when I'm having a break and if they seem to be stuck what's wrong with confirming another poster's query?

I don't check but I have software that does, my current earnings are displayed on my desktop, and it claims the stats stopped updating for me at 7:16am PST about 90 minutes ago :)

When people report that the stats are stuck, it's because they have been for hours, not minutes.

CTR is absolutely shot to hell. What has changed with Adsense over the past month and a bit, it's obviously a major change. What with so many publishers complaining, how is AdSense going to fare this quarter?

Probably Google listened to signor_john who suggested to "Eliminate real-time stats. Publish daily traffic and earnings reports at the end of the day, not before."

Seriously I don't understand how come people just defend their sickness. IF you are seriously dependent on the adsense income that doesn't mean you should keep watching the stat all the time.

You have got one life it is up to you how you want to waste it. By seeing Google's stat or listening to birds.
