Global AdSense Check Delay May 2009

Hi,is there anybody here who's still waiting for his or her secure check? I know that we have to wait until the 5th, but there is not even a tracking number posted in my account yet. Is there anybody here who's in a similar situation - no check and no tracking number for the secure check delivery? By the way, I always get my check by the 1st of the month. Thanks!

Got it yesterday from India. Why Google is not offering EFT in dollars instead of local currency?!

7th day-end India - No sign of either payment delivery or courier tracking info for me even today.

Its reassuring to know that payment from Hyderabad reached Pakistan, Mexico and Spain before Hyderabad.

You can see moon which is far away from hyderabad, but you can't even see Pune from hyderabad, which is closer to you Pune or moon ?

I don't understand what is the logic of having the tracking number revealed on the 15th.

One reason would be that the check would be issued a day or so before, i.e around 12-14.

Since once the check is issued the tracking number is given immediately. No reason for them to just reveal that on the 15th. And any local courier does not take more than 2 days anywhere in India (i think).

Only time will say though what is actually going on, unless ASA decides to shed some light on this issue.

If tracking number would appear only on 15th (and that's not a mistake), that means cheque would reach only afterwards. Which means, if you are in India, your check date has already changed to 17th or so!

As Google is issuing payments from India, they can easily offer EFT ( electronic fund transfer)to publishers in India. I hope they initiate this and get rid of paper cheques which seems to be too much for them to handle..

Hi guys....Finally Google India has posted the checks via Blue Dart. You must start receiving it from tomorrow onwards. Lucky ones may receive it today evening itself. This info is from a reliable source.

The check is from Citibank Europe interestingly the date on the check is 28 April, its payable at par at all citibank branches in India.

As I mentioned earlier that I live in hyd so I got it first, you guys should get it by tomorrow I guess.
