I just don't see how a company like Google, dealing with millions and millions of £ a day can let their systems fall over so regularly. It's a very amateur system. Truly very poor. Absolutely no excuse.
Up until a couple of months ago, failures in reporting were a rareity. Now, it's got to the point where I almost expect rubbish reporting.
Doesn't bother me. There's no point in monitoring numbers hourly, or twice daily or even daily. It all gets there in the end, and into my pocket. I have better things to do than worry that today's partial stats are bad.
Just to give you an idea if your hosting provider goes down like this or has other problems ever other day...... just think about it.
I was expecting low earnings but I can't even buy half a beer yet!
Please unstick the machine G.
Absolutely - stats down by 50% on Friday so i HOPE we're in for a click dump today. At least the Saturday maintenance was cancelled, that's always a sure-fire stats killer.
coachm it might not bother you, but for some of us run pretty big sites, nearing a million page views/ day and yes these daily fluctuations matter then coz couple of hrs lost every other day due to some technical error then start to matter.
Why?

I did think about it. Here's what I thunk. You are using the wrong method to discover what is happening to your hosting provider. There's better ways. What you are doing is ineffective.
..personally, I think you guys have no GOOD reason to check all the time, particularly once you know that stats are not synced, etc. You're just addicted.

Personally, I think you have no GOOD reason to check the adsense forum all the time, just to tell us we're all mad, particularly as you know these threads are inevitable. You're just addicted.
Removing Xmas periods from the comparison the last time I had so few clicks was before I went 100% sitewide 4+ years ago...yikes.
