adsense admits a contextual-relevance bug

maybe they will give us a bit more of a % for 1 day, instead of "adjusting" the earnings for that very low day? Wishful thinking.. :)

Well it does show relevant contextually-targeted ads make a huge difference - during that time my click through rate was terrible!

Yep! That day my CTR dropped by well over a half. Earnings were about 30-40% lower. Pity there is no way to regain that % due to the 'bug' that went on for 10 hours. That day and the flow on effect to the next day throws my whole month out of whack now and it has to be picked up by me from somewhere else.

Now if there was 10 hours more in a day to stay focused on creating more content/pages on my sites I monetize.. it might be regained... but likely not this month. :/

I did see lower EPM on March 5. Did anyone also notice significantly lower EPM on Feb. 25?

The 1st March was great for me. It has gone downhill ever since.
Today is my worst day ever by far. (2 years plus as an adsense customer)

Yep, that's when things started to go whacky with my metrics. 26th and 27th were much lower than normal however 28th and 1st and 2nd March were good with normal EPC yet a better than recent CTR, similar to 6 months ago...then came 3rd March and G-World fell apart!

3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th clicks look very low compared to average, Saturday 7th completely normal and so was Sunday 8th until 12 hours or so overnight and the darned thing fell apart again.
