I just read an article that says that keyboards, pcs etc are all going to disappear in the next 3 or 4 years, and that everyone will be using the internet on cellphones.

What will this do to the "standard" websites, those that show images larger than 2 inches wide...will everything go to voice, video, and will people stop reading altogether? Is it realistic to plan long term for adsense-financed websites? For how long?

thanks

When I was in grade school, I had a book called "You will Go to the Moon" - meaning by the time I was an adult it was expected that moon visits would be routine travel, like going to Disneyland.

Maybe your article and my book were both by the same author. :)

Quite a few mobile-phone users wear watches. Some even use PCs. :-)

I leave my watch, my mobile and my PC at home when I go out.

How many mobile phone users wear watches?

100% of all the people I know and that includes a huge amount of 18-30 year olds too, maybe we're just old-fashioned in the UK?

My laptop only goes with me on vacations, I really need it when I can't use my regular PC even if I've got no internet connection as I've got other things on it to entertain me.

My mobile phone rarely leaves the house unless I know I'm going to receive a call. It also goes on vacations with me.

I always wear my watch. Always. Doesn't matter if there are clocks on all the walls, time displays on the phone & PC. I need it right there on my wrist.
