My annual whine... this year for sure!

Still no sign of SantaGoogle™ or a GoogleGift™ for 2008 here in Massachusetts.

Please oh please SantaGoogle™!
Last two years I also begged in this forum, but no luck.
I even wrote some lyrics to the song "Santa Baby", you know the one with Marilyn Monroe?

SantaGoogle™ just slip a Frame under the tree, for me
Been a white hat for you
SantaGoogle™ so hurry down with FedEx to me.

SantaGoogle™ A Wireless Accessory too, in blue
I'll wait up for you, dear
SantaGoogle™ so hurry down with FedEx to me.
Think of all the fun I've missed,
Think of all the Ads that I haven't clicked,
You would give me a real big lift
If you'd send me a GoogleGift™

SantaGoogle™ I want a Mood Radio too, from you.
Been without tunes all year
SantaGoogle™ so hurry down with FedEx to me.

Maybe your gift was diverted to the owner of an MFA.

In case you did not notice, we're at the beginning of a economical crisis, that even Google feels:

[webmasterworld.com...]

Probably no gift this year. Maybe a postcard.

Probably no gift this year. Maybe a postcard.

I'm so far down their publisher's list now I'll not even qualify for a Xmas e-mail greeting!

Oh, just remind me what I didn't get last year too...mind you, it would've been a bit of a kick in the gut after the October "whatever it was", no, I'll not mention our name for it!

Maybe your gift was diverted to the owner of an MFA.

Ain't that the rotten truth. Geez I hate MFA's almost as much as I hate scrapers.

PS: Got my revenge on a lot of scrapers lately who have been "framing" my pages. As advised by Mr. Googles wonderful "allinurl".

Cryptic I know. BUT....

No presents for me - I've always been strictly white-hat and I use Google search on all my sites but a year ago one of my sites was given it's site-link status, and also a ban on it's primary keyword, in the same month. I'm sure that labels me evil now.

FYI - it looks very funny to see a site-link with your primary keyword removed when it's part of the domain name and category names.

Think "Blue Widgets" showing up as "Blue" etc on the site link... hardly useful info imo.

"Santa Baby - please fix my site link, for me..."

Yes it is.

From the linked to page:

Update: This story is not correct, our source for this information was joking. I am sorry if this caused any holiday thrills.

DeezerD said that european forums made a joke about it. I received it, I have posted the pictures.
When I said I was busted, that was THE joke. But the gift is real. I will post more picture tomorrow...
It's 4 AM in Belgium, I am tired... I got to go to the hospital at 11 AM.

Don't worry Santa Google will come for you with his package. I confirm you will drink your coffee in the google mug.

I just got another email from another publisher. This pub received just the mug, but was convinced it was a holiday gift. So this may be true.

Strange... Google fights tooth and nail against anyone using their name as a verb, yet sends out T-shirts with "I Google" on them?

LOL, RonS, it just wouldn't be the season without you begging for a Google gift. Now I know it really is Christmas. :)

BTW, Google has never sent a gift to me either. I pout every year.

I think most of us high earners already got our G gift for the year, the email telling us how bleak the economy is. We had Black Friday, Then Black Cyber Monday, now a Black Christmas.

While there may be 'some' gifts given out this year, I bet it will be the exception, not the rule after the article put out yesterday, and repeated across the web on major and mom and pop web sites.

dazzlindonna,

Ain't that the truth?

My first year I did get a little spiral-bound shirt-pocket-sized notepad called Google's "8 tips" to be successful with AdSense, but I'm still not sure if that was a holiday present or they were just feeling poorly about how badly I was doing.

Is it too much to ask to get a pen or a keytag? ;)

tammy, can you give the range of money you make per year with Adsense? Ex: x,000 , xx,000, xx0,000. Just wondering what range you need to be to receive a gift....I REALLY want the mug.

Edit: Didn't realize three x's in a row was a no-no.

There's a big difference between buying a mug and earning/winning a mug. I prefer the latter.
