1) Does anyone know if "Payment in Process" means that Google has made the electronic funds transfer?
2) If yes, I guess it's a matter of waiting for your bank to make the funds available correct?
No PIP here, and I'm in Michigan. Not sure if it matters, I receive payment by check.
Actually I think it does matter because those that get their adsense earnings by check will get them later than those of us who use EFT - thereby meaning that the checks go out earlier to be able to be had by the end of the month
Although the adsense pages have said that there is no preference
Thanks for responding. My screen is not yet reporting "Payment in Progress" at this time and every one of the Google requirements have been met. Note, I signed up for EFT.
A friend in the U.S. had received PIP status as of this morning, but tells me that she gets paid in check.
So...no PIP status in Mexico yet.
For the additional cost to Google, since EFT has been around for a long time, they should just discontinue the paper check like many major companies and branches of the government.
That is a good question.
I was hoping that I'd be getting paid according to my banks current exchange rate. But this would mean that Google would pay in U.S. Dollars, and if I remember correctly, I don't think that this is the case, not sure about this.
Or I wonder if the currency conversion is done at Google's bank upon transfer to foreign bank accounts?
This will be my first Google payment, thus I don't know how they work the currency conversions.
