Mirror site problem

Should the ad be placed on both sites?

There is a mirror site for my website with identical content. Can I place the ad on both sites? Of course, all content is original, but they are on 2 different servers which serve visitors in US and Asia.

Google T&Cs:

"Do not create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content."

However adhering to this is nearly impossible for, say, newspaper sites, since identical press releases are posted on many sites and, of course, many manufacturers' agents sites have identical content.

Google does not ban sites for duplicate content it merely smacks those down it does not like so much!

My opinion, no problem, however if you really want the definitive answer ask them.
