Actually I think that it really has to do with the layout of the month. For the past 2 months - not counting this month of August - my PIP showed up on the 24th. I really think it depends of the months' format.

In the US, maybe, but things have definitely changed over the last couple of years where the UK payments are concerned.
August 2004 - Aug 23 Payment issued
August 2005 - Aug 24 Payment issued
August 2006 - Aug 23 Payment issued
August 2007 - Aug 27 Payment issued
August 2008 - Aug 28 Payment in progress
After years of phenomenal growth, Google must be experiencing somewhat of a slow down in revenue growth, in my opinion. To mitigate the financial impact of the slow down and to please the "greed" of investors & the "need" of Wall Street... apparently Google's head bean counters have advised management to delay payment of Publishers Google Adsense commissions in order to take advantage of accrued interest on the $100's of millions of dollars sitting in their bank account for a few extra days... just THINK how much $$$ that can be!
Therefore Google will "wow" the stock analysts again for the coming financial reporting 3rd quarter by once again exceeding analysts' earnings expectations even during an economic down-turn... and thereby causing GOOG stock share price to POP (rally)... for however temporary of a time frame - before "profit-takers" cause the stock value to wane once again...
Google has become a prisoner of its own success... and it must becoming increasingly difficult for Google to keep pleasing critics; investors; business associates/clients, and the surfing public's lofty expectations.
BUT... what do I know? I not privy to any insider information and I'm not as sharp as ANY corporate executive (lol)
BTW - no EFT PIP in Texas yet... the latest payout date I remember experiencing since 2004...
I just checked my bank statement online and I received my Google AdSense EFT on the 27th of August... Yet I don't even have a monthly tally breakout for August in my Google account... let alone a PIP indication...
While I'm very thankful to receive my payment... what's up with Google's accounting system this month?!
Iam from india, i saw my account still payment in process, yet iam not received the payments! anyone in india with this problem ?

5 days over i can't see payment issued :( message.
Don't know why they are delaying the payments!
i like to know whether USA, Australia, canada and other publishers received their payment through EFT or courier ? there is no postings from those people, i guess the problem is only for Indian publishers.

At least the exchange rate is more favourable than last month.
