How to increase click through rate for my site?

My website (please view at my profile) receives a low click through rate to adsense ads when compared to CTR of other forum members.

What should I do to increase my CTR?

You can't quote your own url directly in your post. Expect it to be deleted soon by a Mod. Put it in your profile and ask people to look at it there

URLs do not always show in profiles for newer members.

Primarily to stop self promotion I believe, but also to encourage discussion of technique and method rather than 'review my site' type posts.

mig1234, perhaps you could describe what you've done and what you've achieved so far... which might also lead you to more specific questions or ideas on what you might want to try.

Why, after being told that your first post violated the TOS of this site, would you bother to change the first post and then follow it with another post that violates the exact same TOS? Just doesn't make a lot of sense.

You may also be in violation of G's TOS for disclosing ctr.

Please remove the reference to the URL & the CTR's.

Here are some suggestions to improve clickthrough.

Use Standard Banner (468 x 60) or Half Banner (234 x 60) (You may use multiple Ads).

Reason: These banners in addition to Ultra Leaderboard (728 x 90) do not display the destination URL.
So you would get additional curiosity clicks.

I'm not sure there is much you can do. Your placement is good and the ads seems to be targeted for your subject. If you are attempting to get a CTR of more than 5%, don't . It is unrealistic.

remove borders from adverts, it will help your greatly
links in the adsense ads should be of same color as your site links.

this will make your visitors feel that they are not adverts, but normal articles on your website.

Though this will be deceiving your visitors, but who cares if you need more clicks and more money

If the ads match the content everyone should be happy - its a great chance for the advertiser to grab a new customer.
I'm not interested in any of the ads in todays newspaper, but the advertiser still has to pay.

It's something you can do if you don't want to carry on having adsense on your site much longer and don't want to receive your next pay cheque
Best advise is as per the google adsense TOS is not to click on your own ads or to get anyone else to click on your ads

No doubt thousands of people increase their CTR that way
