Hi,

Just letting you know guys that google disabled ads on one of my website because they found one mature word (adult world) on site. That word was accidently put by my SEO guy.

I am just letting you know guys so that you can check your sites also.

I have removed that word and requested google to review.

Regards

Google doesn't have a list of stopwords but they clearly say not to put adsense on mature/adult content.

I have visited that dictionary site which showing adsense on
'Gigolo' or 'Oral Se ' page. This doesnt mean, you can also show ads on such pages!

I have got adsense email on early 2007

Hello,
While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies. For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as .../nude.htm

As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on pages with adult or mature content.
----

This nude.htm page was a list of nude wallpapers (just wallpaper description and website link, not any nude images/thumbshots at all). I had removed adsense from that page immediately.

So its upto site owners to avoid showing ads on such page or wait for google email..

I can vouch for them not liking "swinger" too, even when it was used in combination with a common food.

Same with words like naturism or nudism. They brings on PSAs but only on the page concerned, no problem for the other 1400 pages on the site.

Avoid "erotic", "erotica", "eroticism" as well.

The folks writing about Ford Escorts probably hope not.

Can AdSense tell the difference between a Ford Escort and a male escort?

I dunno; I have a page where I have one of my world famous recipes that includes a turkey breast, and the ads seem to run on that one okay.
