Here is some info: The 2 sites that earn most of that money get about 700 visits per day (one 600 the other 150) The one with more traffic earns about 1.5 cents per visitor and the other over 3 cents per visitor, so i am happy with that.
Seems to me that my problem is traffic.
For those of you earning $100 or more per day, are the keywords you target all very high traffic terms. (I consider over 500 per day on the free wordtracker took "very hight traffic terms")
What is the minimum traffic (on the wordtracker tool) that you consider worth going after. I realize some keywords earn more $ with less clicks) I am just trying to get some indication of the level i need to get to to earn $100 per day.
doing the math it would seem that I would need 5000 visitors per day. Which seems reasonable. Do most of you do that by targeting the "big" terms or many "smaller" terms.
I am sure there is a mix of both, I am just looking for some feedback.
One is to chase it. Try to pick keywords that will generate traffic and earnings and then find a way to get those keywords published on the web alongside your AdSense ads.
The other approach, instead of chasing revenue, is to let the revenue find you. Build a good useful site on a topic you're familiar with - or at least a topic that interests you that you can learn more about - something that will make visitors think, "Wow, this is a good site, not just something thrown together to support advertising. I want to save this my favorites and tell a few friends about it." Then put AdSense on the site.
It sounds like you're trying the first approach and are frustrated by the results. You might give the second approach a try.

People who go to my sites do like them and do spread the word.
I don't add new content often enough I realize, but my specific question is on the keywords I am targeting. To reach the $100 per day level would you say that I have to rank high for some of the 500+ per day searches (as shown in word tracker)?
I have been able to reach $30 per day in the past but now $10 -12 seems to be it.
In general terms (for most sites) would you say to get 5000 visits per day I should target really high traffic keywords or just more pages targeting a wider variety of more easily attainable keywords.
Is 500 per day on wordtracker high enough or to reach $100 per day are most of you ranking for terms with more activity that that even.
I am looking for some real life experiences from you all to help me push this up to the next level. I am not sure if Im even in the right realm (with keywords) to attain what I want to.
Is anyone reaching $100 per day with mostly keywords in the 20-30 searches per day on Wordtracker. If so about how many keywords are you ranking for, ( 10-20 or 100-200 )
