Anyone get an email from Google subject "Important Account Information" telling that you haven't accepted the new Terms and Conditions when in fact you have?

Nothing in my mailbox yet, but that don't mean much.
Google is known for enrolling mass e-mails and updates not all at the same time.

Think it's my turn to worry because I didn't get the mail.

Perhaps they are enrolling certain regions first.
I am from the Netherlands, where are you?

I got an Adsense email, but it was a phishing attempt.

Ganderla, how did you find out it was phishing?

Yes, I just got this to and I already had (a while ago) accepted the changes. I can't find anywhere in the account to re-accept.

Rather worrying.

I'm in Canada.

I think they probably accidentally sent it out to everyone. ASA will be along I'm sure to shed light.

Perhaps Adsense Advisor is with us today?
Is there or isn't there an official Google e-mail with "Important Account Information"?
I wouldn't touch it yet.

Ganderla, how did you find out it was phishing?

Some strange URL it wanted me to go to.

I received one (here in US) and although it does have a slightly sloppy, unprofessional feel about it, it does not appear to be a phishing attempt because the links point directly to the google.com domain...

I also got it. I think it is related to privacy policy requirements. I am adding privacy page in my sites.

Yes I got it too [UK], and I'd agreed to the new tos months ago. Once I logged in, there was no tos to agree to.

I have a privacy policy page. I believe it is got to do with updating of the referrals codes.

I got the email even though I accepted the terms and conditions some time ago. It didn't look like a phishing scam but I logged in from my Google bookmark since you should treat any email asking you to log in as if it is a phishing scam.

I got it too, though I accepted TOS months ago. Probably nothing to worry about, so I won't. Would be nice to see ASA post something about it, however.

My experience with G has been that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Some day, I expect they'll acquire Microsoft, but nobody will know.

Yeah I just got that email too. Logged in several times but can't for the life of me figure out how to accept the new TOS. I even cleared my browser cache, cookies, visited the actual TOS page. Nothing. No prompt, nothing. I'll gladly accept, no problem. Just show me the dotted line.

I also accepted TOS months ago. After receiving email, when logged in now, there was no tos to agree.

Obviously a faux-pas (since you never planned ahead to make sure that you track who has accepted and who has not and then just tell everyone that they goofed).

It would have been nice for G to say that "If you have accepted these terms, no action is needed." On the contrary I found it a little threatening by referring to your "continued participation."

I hope that accounts don't get shut down in a similar manner.

Got the email too. Accepted TOS months ago.

Seems to be one of those (increasingly happening) moments when G loses all the touch with reality.

Funny how G wants more quality from publishers and advertizers, but persons at G seem to do all their changes without any proper testing.

"Yes I got it too, altho there is no option to accept the new terms in my account."

Same for me. Tells me this is a mistake? I hope.

Added: I'm in France.

Judging by the number of responses sent out, everyone is getting this email...even if they already accepted the agreement.

Here is the return path of my email: 3hoEoSAgKBHgjk-nalhuckkcha.YkiejbknajpWhZaYknWpejc.Yki@ScoutCamp.bounces.google.com

I have no idea how to decipher this kind of stuff, but if it helps someone here it is :)

I think it was just a faux pau myself.

No email here.

Would someone pretend to be AdSense and PM me a scary message so I won't feel left out?

A couple days ago and again today I received a phishing email to the email contact I have for AdSense. The email asked me to login to my AdWords account - the phishing URL pointed to some adwkim.cn server.
