CLEARLY you're asking the wrong question. The question is if you have a RELEVANT website to ADVERTISERS.

If your site for instance is a forum talking about whaddyacallits, but nobody has any of them for sale, you get no advertisers--even if you have 1,000,000 hits/day.

What is your site about?

Normally I would agree with that. But 2008 is a leap year, that changes everything.

You better build it up slowly. 70,000 visitors and USD 1000 within a short span will certainly trigger a big red flag at Google. You should be able to justify a manual review.
