Well, I guess they can.

(And looking at your previous posts, I smell a "I have been booted" post soon.)

Why would you think that they could not stop the payment? They make the rules.

They can do anything. They can even stop your cheque from cashing after they have sent it. (if you use that form of payment). They are God in the internet world.

Has your "friend's" Adsense account been disabled?

Google is going to stop payment the second they realize fraud is occurring.

Of course they can. If anyone writes a che[ck¦que] they can stop payment at any time before it clears. If you set up an EFT, they can even remove the money from your account at a later date, though they are very unlikely to do that.

Google can also recover payment after cheque cashed out. They have all your information (may be not for a small amount such as 1000).

I never talk about Adsense to anyone.
My humble advice is that you do the same.
