Today is the perfect day for MFA sites to sneak in on your site and run their ads while you are unable to get into your account and block them from your site. I was checking my most money making web pages and there they were... the crap sites sneaking their ads in while I can't access my account because of Google playing with their algorithm.

All I can do is wait and put up with them being on my site while Google fiddles and Rome burns.

Some of the conspiracy theories I read here never cease to amaze me.

Not a theory ... fact. Junk ads are on my site, I can't do a thing about it right now.

CAF never blocks immediately anyway Mike, it could take from hours to over a day to take effect, I can't believe you block advertisers on hourly basis, what happens when you sleep?

I see them, I block them. Simple idea.

I'm not doubting that junk ads are appearing on your site. Attributing it to the fact that you can't get into your account due to scheduled maintenance is what is preposterous and thus what I referred to as a conspiracy theory.

Sorry to all the conspiracy theorists, but Adwords access is down for maintenance too. So, new ads couldn't be added during this time.

One advertiser that really got on my nerves was Webfetti. You may be familiar with this company. They had their ads appearing on my sites. They had some kind of referal CPA program for affiliates. So the Adsense was awash in 2 cent Ads from this site. Every couple sites I added to the competitive filter 10 more would pop-up for webfetti the next day.

So irritating.

lazyhat, it sounds like the display URL was something other than webfetti if the Competitive Ad Filter wasn't working. Is that right?

Google is supposed to be strictly enforcing their display URL/destination URL policy as of 4/1 so if it continues to happen, report the ad to adsense-support@google.com.

Google may be enforcing the landing page URL but apparently way to get around this is to simply frame in the affiliate page you want. Seeing this more and more recently.

I'm still seeing it happen.
