Minumum content to be approved for adsense?

I signed up for adsense about a year ago just to see and implement the code and play with adsense in my design. I had 4 sections on a website, two where empty. Adsense came back and told me I wasn't approved because of incomplete links or something.

I want to try again, just to see how adsense works, work with the interfaces and whatever. Can I put up a one page site, write an article or something just to get in?

...Let me add to this before anyone replies: I was just reading some advise about researching what articles or topics are paying PPC or something. I want to do that. I want to look around at these figures a bit.

Just make a website that's somewhat done (it's never finished). You'll get in. If you don't have a website they don't want you to play (and honestly: I consider that a good thing).

I applied for AdSense with a single page. Got approved on the day I applied, too. That page was complete, useful and popular on its own and was not made for AdSense (it had existed ad-free for more than a year.) I guess you'll have to ask yourself if you would look at your one-page site and think: "This doesn't need more pages to be interesting/useful/popular." Links to "under construction" pages are a big no-no. Remove all placeholder pages from the navigation.

Just set up a one page blog on how to make money from home.

It'll be approved.

Is this correct:

You want to join the AdSense system just to experiment with basically empty pages? And them you would like to explore the highest paying keywords for "articles or topics are paying PPC or something "?

I'd like to see how the adsense system works. I had read in another post something about basically writing content in areas that pay better than others. Without knowing much about the adsense program, how would I know where to spend my effort? There are a few different topics I have some knowledge in that I could try my hand writing content in.

just concentrate on making the site first .... as soon as you have some working pages ...sign up for adsense ...
