Let's try this one more time. It un-scientific and subject to all sorts of accuracy complaints. (There, its been said in advance for you.)

With 10 being incredible increases on an order of metaphysical certitude, 1 (or zero, if you must) being the lowest of lousy performance, and 5 a steady-eddie-no-change, was it good for you?

What shall we measure against? Previous month, same month last year, or just overall trend?

I'll start: overall trend, a decent 7.

February for me was about a 6. Only about a dollar a day higher than January, but less days, so less overall revenue.

I hope March continues as it has during these first few days. If so, it will be a 9

3.5 here. February was definitely an underperformer for me.

6.5 year on year but with the dollar being down that makes it a 5

IMO, the only thing that comes close to making sense is to measure eCPM, February over February.

For me, that score is 5 (virtually no change).

Month on month a 5, possibly a 6 if you take into account the 29 days in February against the 31 in January. Year on year an 8.5.

For the affiliate scheme I use, it's a 4 for both year on year and month by month.

For individual company advertising, year on year is an 8.5.

Using eCPM and comparing months in 07 to 08. (Using the 1 to 10 scale mentioned in the opening post)

Jan 08 was about a 3.5
Feb 08 was about a 6.5
Mar 08 is up so far but it's to early to tell where it's going to end.

Down from Feb 07 but up from Jan 08 and a good bit up from Dec 07 (recovering from a CTR collapse that actually pre-dated the change in clickable area).

Overall, a 7. The trend looks good.

EPC is down a tick from Feb 2007 but up slightly over Jan 2008, so I would say 6.
My sites were hit by about a 25% to 30% slump in EPC last summer.
March 1 saw a jump up to pre-slump levels and it has held since.
XX (fingers crossed)

I find it very odd that there are so few posters to this topic. It seems to me that this is the critical post of each month. How well are we doing is the question.

Any thoughts as to why so few posts?

I don't, I have been reading other thread topics on WebmasterWorld and not visiting here. Adsense threads tend to have similar conclusions and interjections, particularly the ones with less than glowing comments on AdSense.

Feb 2008 (28 days) 10% less than Feb 2007
Feb 2008 7% higher than Jan 2008 (29 days)
First 6 days in March 15% higher than the first 6 days in Feb

I thought, that I have earned in February 5% more than in January.

But when I look on the US$ to EUR exchange, it could happen until payment, that I have earned in February less than in January.

And the problem with the Euro is that we will see it even more stronger in the next months. We have to wait till the BCE starts to cut interest rate to stop this rally.
I hope that my Adsense revenue continues to growth to compesante, partly, this.

I'd guess this a subject in which most senior members choose to not participate.

Well Feb 08 is my highest earnings month ever - (that's why I can't WAIT to get paid!)

As compared to Feb 07 my adsense income has tripled! - so then I would give Feb 08 a 10!

But the one thing I do want to point out is that while my adsense earnings are there is usually a up and down period and then my monthly earnings will go slightly up and then its back to the up/down thing again and then the earnings go up again and so on over and over this has happened so far.
