EFT Option Now Available for Hong Kong AdSense Publishers

I just received notice from google today that EFT payment option is now available to publishers from Hong Kong. This is good news for me and all publishers from this city, I have been waiting for this. I went ahead and added a bank account, now just awaiting for the test deposit. I hope this is faster than paypal. It takes 5 days for my funds to reach my Hong Kong bank account when transferring money from paypal.

Check it out maybe your country has been added as well.

It is good to see they are adding more countries to the EFT. Do you have the option of choosing the currency?

I think they mentioned about currency option during adding a bank account process and I remember it was saying they'll use the currency that we choose when receiving checks.

Great news for Hong Kong.

As for the time it takes, like you it takes about 5 days for me to see money withdrawn from paypal in my UK bank, I normally see my Google payment in the bank in 3 days from the time PIP appears.

It appears that EFT payments have arrived to webmasters in Hungary, too - at least now I see an option to set up EFT as a payment option.

The FAQ section is yet to be updated:

Maybe the topic title could now be changed to something like: EFT available in more countries or something.

Well, I decided it was time to switch from check to EFT. To my surprise, this payment option has been removed (temporarily?) from my account (Hungary) - it was available in early April. Ouch.

I think they are still testing the feature and you are one of the limited members that were invited to participate, but since you didn't join right away your spot might have been filled by someone else.

BTW, I just got my first gmoney for the first time via eft. The waiting time was cut by about 4 days compare to receiving check. Thanks again google!

thegreatpretender is right, EFT is a new payment option we are rolling out in Hungary, and it is therefore available only to a limited number of publishers at present. We plan to offer this option to more publishers in Hungary in the near future. If you wish to wait until you can receive your payments via EFT, you may wish to place a self-hold on your account.
