Hello,

I run a healthcare related website for just one particular geographic location. I started placing Adsense ads on my site about six months ago. I average about 8% clickthru rate and about .42 cents per click. I was just wondering how this compares to others earnings and clickthru rates. I'm planning on expanding my site to cover more areas and I'm hoping that my CTR and Earning per click will be equal or greater for the same type of site in a different location. Do you think it's worth expanding to different locations with these numbers (my CTR and earnings per click)? Thanks.

8% is a good CTR. 42 cents is a solid EPC for a health-related site. Every site is different, but I certainly wouldn't count on the EPC going up.

Whether you should expand the site is dependent on a calculation of your time value vs. expected results. $33 CPM looks promising, but it depends on whether you can succeed at building decent traffic.
