Actually pretty robust stats for yesterday. Kinda surprising too.

I assumed that it was people celebrating Valentine's Day yesterday. And the slowdown was more like that for the weekend (I expected many more people to do something fun than sit in front of a dumb machine). I don't think it was an AdSense problem because traffic was down.

Feburary 14th looked pretty normal to me. I'd guess that the impact of Valentine's Day--if any--would depend on how important Valentine's Day is in the countries where most of your traffic is originating.

Feb 14 was pretty much "normal" in terms of earnings. Feb 13 however was the worst day this year.

I must agree that my metrics look abysmal today considering how consistent it has been for me recently. Hopefully it's just an updation delay:-)

I have had a significant downturn from the 14th about 30% lower across the board

Today is a holiday weekend in the US--Monday is "President's Day"--so people often leave work early to get a jump on travel, and stay more focused on work during the hours they ARE there (so less surfing).

Probably a factor.

OMG today's stats (as of 9:46PM Google time) are disgusting. Much worse than my worst-day-of-2008 on Feb 13. I hope this is just because of a long weekend in the US. Most of my visitors are from the US so hopefully that's all it is.

Mine turned out higher than average by the end of the day.

Every 14th of Feb I see about about a 5-7% dip for the day. When plotted out, Feb 14 sticks out like a small dagger ready to stab someone's heart. I never knew my visitors were so romantic.

Once my metrics had updated it was a normal 2008 Friday, incidentally much better than the previous Friday which was my worst day in weeks.

Interestingly so far this month my EPC has been extremely stable.

Seeing a drop, but our traffic is U.S. based and between Valentine's day on Thursday and another ridiculous 3-day holiday this weekend, it is to be expected.
