CTR >1%, zero earnings, ... wait for it... eCPM: $0.02
Can anyone go lower?

How many impressions (roughly speaking) are you getting per day? Dozens? Hundreds? Thousands or more? If your traffic is low, even a few clicks could make the difference between a great eCPM and one that's abysmal.

Mr_Smithee,

Just like any other affiliate program, AdSense doesn't work well on every site. Believe it or not, the eCPM figure you quoted is better than I was making at Commission Junction. There are people who swear by CJ, but it just didn't work for me. Needless to say, I'm no longer running any CJ links. I just keep looking for programs that work well on my site.

On top of that, even if a program works today, that doesn't guarantee that it will keep producing in the long term. For example, I have a program that used to make a few hundred dollars a month just from a half dozen links. That was a 3 years ago but now those links only make about $50 per month. There's not much I can do about it except to give them a lower priority on my site, and place better-paying links in their position.

Started dec 2004 the first day I made about $4.00 since then I have reached over a $100 per day several times, averaging $80 per day latley since last year, its been sliding, now, Is about $20 per day at this rate I will be at $4 per day within a month. Good thing I did not buy that condo in Hawaii. Folks its very sippery at the top.
