I am publisher from Russia, but most of my visitors comes from US/UK. So I have only one way to check my ads - US-based proxy.

I have only negative experience with open proxies: they are slow, some of them filtering out ads. And as soon as they get reported in lists they are get closed - so I experiencing difficulties with just finding working proxy.

May be someone can recommend me a good alternative? May be some paid (but cheap) proxy server in US?

Use Google adsense preview tool.

Preview shows about 10-16 ads, which include about 4 relevant and about 10 irrelevant. I want to know what ads are showed in reality. And want to be sure that it is relevant ads that are chosen by algorithm. Preview simply does not have enough information for me.

googlock works well for me. It spits out twenty ads per country.

Proxy will not help you much as Google tries to target ads to specific region. So you could end up seeing ads targeted for the "proxy ip" region only.
Also Google's algorithms may mistakenly treat such behavior as "trying to cheat them".
